How did we create a Sabrina Online radio play?
1) Dedication. For the art. For the creator. To accomplish a goal!

2) Computer with internet access [Duh! ^^] But then again you could just be on a friend's computer or a public computer passing by this page ^_~

3) Audio editor. You can download trial versions off the internet or if you have the pocket change, purchase one off the net or from a store. The one I use is called Goldwave. There are many others out there with more or less features which supplies all that you need to mix, edit, scramble, dice, slice, or hack into pieces! :]

4) It would most definitely help to have speakers and/or a mic!

5) For sound effects, try going through Google.com or any search engine and looking up pages. Many of them are not free but there are still a good few that are free or inexpensive. You could try going around your town for cheap cds or tapes of sound effects --yard sales or tag sales.

6) Music! Yes, have cool music to go along with your radio play! But don't overdo it and don't have it as loud as your actors' lines. If you have musical talent, create your own and give it an even more original taste.

7) Nice, simple webpage. If you're into all that flash and multiple frames what have you, go ahead! Make sure it's easy for the audience to navigate and if you can, I suggest purchasing your own domain for lots of webspace to upload the [huge!] files.

8) Be sure to have an mp3 and wav player; Winzip or some form of zipping program [this saves space when your cast sends in their lines or when you want to upload your play}. An mp3 decoder is always nice to have if you prefer to work with .wavs.

9) Lots of good friends! And plenty of production team members! That way if you get busy in your personal life, someone can take over and the show can go on! Make sure it's someone who you trust.

10) Having a cd burner is a big bonus. That way for those who want to listen to your radio play who cannot download the file[s], you can burn them onto a cd-- either as a gift or for a small purchase/donation. If you charge and the origin of the radio play was not your idea, it's always respectful to share the profit with the creator [if we did decide to sell cds, in our case proceeds would go to Eric Schwartz].

11) Oh, and a cable/DSL/T1/ really fast internet connection is always a big PLUS!
