Welcome to WanderLust

You have discovered the photographic home of Nikki Jeske! Somehow or other you made it here, and I do not doubt that you have arrived from a long journey. So sit back, relax, drink a pot of tea, and, while you tell of me of your adventures in the wilds that is Life, feel free to browse through the evidence of my own wanderlust.

Well it's the beginning of a new year and I am slowly, ever so painstakingly slowly, making headway in learning CSS and rehauling my designs so they're up to webstandards. I have a long way to go yet. This newest website, Wanderlust, is not only here to showcase the best of my photography, but it is also the only website I have so far with CSS. I'm crossing my fingers that I did it right.
If you see anything wrong with the coding, the design, the spelling, the photography, or what have you, please email me and let me know. My contact information can be found under the About page.
A Word from the Photographer
As much as I would love to tell you I am a professional photographer, I have to admit I'm not. You can clearly see that for yourself most likely. What I do is simply a hobby, and not a very productive one at that. Most of what catches my eye can be found in nature; a leaf here, a meadow full of light there, a few pictures of kids thrown in for good measure. It is not the best and I probably won't take the time to try and do this for a career. But, I do love to take pictures. I like being able to capture something beautiful in film so that I can share that moment with other people.
Even though the images found here are clearly not professionaly done, that does not mean they are for free use. All photographs are my own and are not up for sharing. For more information on that, click on the link that says copyright for a better explanation.
I'll stop babbling now and let you get on with viewing the pictures. Navigation is on your left, the tea is in your kitchen, and if you need anything, just call. I'll be in the basement looking through your boxes.
Yours Sincerely,
Nikki Jeske
