The Artwork

First and foremost, I am an artist. Therefore, the part of this site I tend to baby the most, is my artwork. I work primarily with markers and colored pencils, but a lot of the work you'll see here will also be digital drawings (I use a 8x6 UC-Logic Graphic Tablet), as well as paintings in acrylic and oil (rarely watercolor).

The Stories

I have been writing for as long as I can remember, from short fantasy stories about witches and faeries, to in-depth environmental essays about the connection between humans and the earth. You will find several pieces from each of these genres, as well as a fair amount of other random topics such as Atlantis or folklore on spiders. I write about everything.

The Poetry

Poetry is an avid part of my life and I see it everywhere. Yes, that makes me sound like a snob, but it's true. I write poems on napkins at restaurants and the kleenex in my car when I have nothing else to write on. I tend to write better poems than stories - shorter, less words, and yet I feel I get my point across much more precisely. Hey, it works.
